IF YOU’RE not one of the millions who have read Paula Hawkins’s best-selling psychological thriller, then this much-anticipated film adaptation will prove a tense and gripping ride.
The book, described as the next Gone Girl, has an annoyingly confusing — and pretentious — non-linear story, told from the point of view of three women. Rachel, Anna and Megan are odious characters, none of whom have a redeeming feature between them.
