A&E waiting times in Scotland last hit four-hour waiting target in July 2017
MORE than 350,000 people have been made to wait more than four hours to be seen at A&E over the past two years.
Analysis of figures released by ISD Scotland reveal that the four-hour target to see 95 percent of patients, part of the NHS constitution, was last met in July 2017.
The SNP government has made hitting the target a flagship pledge, but since it was last met more than 17,000 people had to wait for eight hours — and 3,773 people more than 12 hours.
