PEOPLE across Britain will protest on Tuesday against the handing of millions of pounds to the disgraced privateers running the government’s botched Covid-19 test and trace scheme.
As initial test-and-trace contracts approach expiry, campaigners are calling for them to be transferred to local authorities and NHS organisations.
The government originally allocated £10 billion for the coronavirus test and trace scheme. Recipients included privateers Serco and Sita, whose contracts run out on August 23.
