A HOUSING association is reviewing 5,000 cases after apologising to a 66-year-old woman who had water leaking into her bedroom for more than a year and a man who had to wait 18 months for a mouse infestation to be dealt with.

The housing ombudsman Richard Blakeway found that multiple missed opportunities by A2Dominion Group to address failings meant they were “living with significant disrepair for a prolonged period,” adding that the cases meant residents with health conditions had been let down by their landlord.

The affected west London residents were awarded about £8,000 in compensation.
