Burnham joins protest at hospital’s job cuts

STAFF at a West Midlands hospital where 10 per cent of jobs could be axed held a demonstration yesterday that was attended by Labour’s shadow health secretary Andy Burnham.

Mr Burnham was visiting Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.

The hospital faces an annual cut in its budget of £12 million as the government continues its attack on the NHS even in the dying days of the coalition.
