World in brief: December 5, 2024

KOSOVO: Judges of a European Union-backed court yesterday ordered the arrest of three more Kosovo war veterans on alleged offences against the administration of justice.
A statement from the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, based in The Hague, Netherlands, confirmed ongoing operations in Kosovo authorised by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and supported by the EU’s Rule of Law Mission.
Kosovar media reported three arrests.
