Welsh government to fund 32 winning community green energy projects

THE Welsh government is awarding up to £10 million of grant funding to 32 community green energy projects across the country.
The projects include the deployment of solar panels and heat pumps as well as battery storage and electric vehicle charging points. Beneficiaries include schools, leisure centres, care homes, community centres and industrial estates.
The projects were selected after a competitive application process and form part of the Ynni Cymru (Energy Wales) programme.
