WET WEATHER: Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs Huw Irranca-Davies is holding a summit tomorrow to examine the impact of prolonged wet weather on food production in Wales and explore what can be done.

Mr Irranca-Davies said: “It is clear that the changing climatic conditions and increasing weather extremes are already affecting Welsh soils, water resources and livestock.

“It is essential that we take steps now to build resilience to the potential impacts of climate change.”
