German state accused of criminalising Palestinian resistance with Hamas flag ban
Palestinians wave national and Hamas flags in front of the Dome of the Rock shrine at the al-Aqsa mosque complex in Jerusalem

GERMANY has been accused of attempting to criminalise the Palestinian resistance via legislation that would ban the display of Hamas flags.

A Bill backed by all major parties is to be debated in parliament next week.

The move comes weeks after tens of thousands of people took to the streets across the country demanding freedom, justice and liberation for Palestine during Israel’s 11-day bombardment of Gaza.
