US air strikes kill at least two in Yemen

US air strikes in Yemen have killed at least two people, the Houthi-led government said today.

The attacks on the north-western city of Saada also reportedly wounded at least nine others, with footage aired by satellite news channel al-Masirah showing a two-storey building collapsing.

Under US President Donald Trump, an intense campaign of air strikes has targeted the Houthis over their attacks on Israeli and US shipping in the Red Sea.
