People’s Assembly Against Austerity has organised the protest to coincide with the Conservative Party conference
Preparations underway ahead of the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester

THOUSANDS of people from across the country will meet in Manchester on Sunday to demand an end to the Tories austerity policies.

The protest, organised by the People’s Assembly Against Austerity (PAAA), will coincide with the start of the Conservative Party conference.

PAAA organiser Ramona McCartney told the Star that a decade of “crippling austerity” in Britain was why it was really important for people to join them in Manchester.
