Six accused of being part of banned PKK to stand trial in 2026
SIX people accused of being part of the banned Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) will stand trial in early 2026.
Turkan Ozcan, 59, Mazlum Sayak, 27, Berfin Kerban, 31, Ali Boyraz, 62, Ercan Akbal, 56, and Agit Karatas, 23, have been charged with being members of the proscribed group, known as the PKK.
The two women and four men appeared at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing before Justice Cheema-Grubb today.
