MEN’S FOOTBALL: The FA Cup first round kicks off on Wednesday evening with Alfreton Town from National League North making the short trip to former winners Notts County, who beat Bolton to lift the trophy way back in 1894.

County currently sit third in League Two, 52 places above Alfreton.

Friday night’s other game sees the National League’s Tamworth host League One high-fliers Huddersfield at their 5,000 capacity Lamb Ground.
