Scotland's NHS backlog hits 840,000 as year-long waits rise by 47%

SCOTLAND’S NHS waiting lists have hit another record high of more than 840,300 delayed treatments, official figures show.
The latest data for March, published today, shows the total has increased by 7 per cent compared to the same point last year.
Patients waiting more than a year for treatment rose by 21 per cent to 87,916 over the same period.
