Newbury’s stellar card has a lot to offer this afternoon

IT’S GROUP One time again, this time in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury and LE BRIVIDO, formerly with Andre Fabre and now with Aidan O’Brien, can land his first success since the Jersey Stakes of 2017 by securing this valuable contest.

The son of Siyouni has endured lots of niggly problems since then, but was a huge eyecatcher last time out in the Gladness Stakes at Naas when getting to within a length and a quarter of Imagining after rearing up badly leaving the stalls.

The fifth home that day, Romanised, also ran well and should improve, especially if the ground remains on the fast side of good, but I fancy the Irish raider to give A.P yet another Group One success this season.
