Pupils in North Tyneside become victims of England’s crumbling schools

HUNDREDS of youngsters in North Tyneside have become victims of England’s crumbling schools after more than a decade of government failure to invest in education.

About 200 students from Churchill Community College at Wallsend in Tyne and Wear are being forced to move to an empty office building because the college has to be checked for safety after a roof fell in at another school.

The office building has no educational equipment and no facilities for providing hot meals.
