
THE police’s decision to release personal details about Nicola Bulley is “as sexist as it comes,” the former victims’ commissioner has said.
Dame Vera Baird has joined a growing number of public figures to criticise Lancashire Police for revealing on Wednesday that Ms Bulley, 45, had struggled with alcohol and the menopause before she disappeared three weeks ago.
The former watchdog warned that the force’s decision to disclose information on the missing mother’s health status could prevent people making complaints to the police in future.
