Nurse faces criminal damage charge for exposing houmous brand's links to Israeli military
Palestinians walk through the destruction in the wake of an Israeli air and ground offensive in Jebaliya, northern Gaza Strip, May 30, 2024

A NURSE from Hastings is facing a criminal damage charge for protesting against a houmous brand over its links to Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Father-of-two Chris Dindar staged a peaceful protest in a Sainsbury’s supermarket, in which he called for a boycott of Sabra houmous.

The action aimed to highlight that Sabra’s parent company, Strauss Group, is openly funding the Israeli military, Mr Dindar said.
