Motherwell head into Rangers clash with ‘spring in their step’
A general view inside Hampden Park, Glasgow, August 10, 2024

MOTHERWELL manager Stuart Kettlewell will take inspiration from their support and Wednesday’s win at Tannadice as he bids to make his team as competitive as they can be against Rangers.

Motherwell moved three points behind Rangers in the top four of the William Hill Premiership on Wednesday thanks to a 2-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice, while the Light Blues lost at Aberdeen.

The difference between the teams in the league is Rangers’ 2-1 win over the Steelmen at Hampden early in the season and they both return to the national stadium on Sunday in the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals.
