Make a Raucous noise at Newmarket this afternoon

There are some huge betting races this weekend and although the Cesarewitch at Newmarket catches the eye, I am going to go nap in the big Coral Sprint at York at 3.15 with Raucous (nap).

Third in the Gimcrack over course and distance as a two-year-old, this now four-year-old has reportedly not been easy to keep right, but there have been glimpses of form which would suggest that he is going to be a major player off his reduced mark.

Rated as high as 106 last year after finishing third in the Stewards Cup at Goodwood behind Dancing Star, he has also performed well in another big field sprint handicap, the Wokingham at Royal Ascot, when he came home nicely to finish eighth of the 27 runners.
