MORE than 500 engineering workers walked out on strike for 12 days today in a pay dispute at a factory in Basildon, Essex.

Members of union Unite have already staged 10 days of strike action at CNH Industrial, which manufactures New Holland tractors.

Unite has accused the company of reneging on an agreement to base annual pay increases on the average rate of inflation over the previous 12 months.
