PALESTINE peace campaigners are organising a concert for Gaza on Saturday in Treforest to raise money, provide inspiration and for supporters to have a good time.
Rhondda Cynon Taf Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Between the Trees Festival have organised the gig for Gaza on February 10 from 7.00pm at St Dyfrig’s Hall, Treforest.
Among the acts performing are singer-songwriters James Kennedy and Jules Gardner and Cor Cochion Caerdydd/Cardiff’s Red Choir.
Speakers will include PSC honorary president Betty Hunter. Rhondda Cynon Taf PSC chair Andrew Draper said: "The bombing and devastation of the healthcare system in Gaza by the Israeli military has made it urgent that we rally in international solidarity and support charities such as Medecins Sans Frontieres and Medical Aid for Palestinians.
“We’re doing this in an evening of reflective and powerful music and speeches. We will be celebrating Palestinian culture and standing with the Palestinian people. We will not let them stand alone.”
Tickets cost £10 and can be bought at https://www.wegottickets.com/event/606632.
