Arsenal bolster their squad with the signing of Denmark's Katrine Veje
Arsenal head coach Joe Montemurro

ARSENAL made their first signing of the year today, adding the versatile Katrine Veje from Montepellier.

Capable of playing anywhere down the left flank, the Danish international will provide much needed cover as the club attempt to deal with a raft of injuries as they bid to win the Women’s Super League.

The 27-year-old was hailed as a “fantastic signing for us” by manager Joe Montemurro, who added: “She will bring experience and professionalism. She understands what it takes to win trophies and her variety of experience playing in different leagues around the world should help her adapt to the competitive standard of the WSL.”
