Arsenal boss expected more from Wenger Out protest

IN TERMS of protests, anti-Arsene Wenger supporters would have left Ashburton Grove on Saturday evening disappointed by how the demonstration panned out and, if anything, ended up whipping up more support for the Frenchman.

The placards and banners that were held aloft before and during the 1-0 victory over Norwich were the latest attempt to oust Wenger.

But the crowd rallied behind the under pressure manager with deafening chant of: “There’s only one Arsene Wenger” and a chorus of boos for those against the Frenchman.
