HEADING into Sunday’s derby, Manchester’s two Premier League clubs have only lost one game between them in all competitions in 2024.
Unfortunately for Manchester United, as they go into what is always a key game regardless of the respective teams’ league positions, that one defeat was their last league game against Fulham.
Since then, both have progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Manchester City defeated Luton in a goal-filled game, 6-2, and United saw off Nottingham Forest 1-0.
