LONDON Mayor Sadiq Khan has launched a new pilot scheme aimed at helping more survivors of domestic abuse in the capital rebuild their lives. 

The Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Homes Programme (DASAHP) will deliver new and improved safe, affordable accommodation for survivors of domestic abuse, as well as better access to specialist support, the mayor’s office said.

It will combine funds from the affordable homes programme and central government revenue, totalling nearly £10 million, to increase the range of support available to survivors of domestic abuse and those with complex needs.
