Plaid Cymru reject Tory electoral bid
WELSH nationalists branded Tory attempts to woo them to join together to keep Labour from power as a “scramble for relevance” today in the face of “electoral oblivion.”
Plaid Cymru rejected calls from Welsh Secretary David TC Davies to do a deal to keep Labour out of power in the next Senedd election.
A Plaid spokeswoman dismissed Mr Davies’s suggestion that there was “no reason in principle” the two parties could not work together.
