Yemen claims responsibility for drone strike on Tel Aviv that killed one
YEMEN’S Houthi led government claimed responsibility today for an early morning drone strike that hit a part of central Tel Aviv near the US embassy, leaving at least 10 injured and one dead.
Yemen’s Houthi government has repeatedly launched drones and missiles toward Israel throughout the latter’s nine-month invasion of Gaza. Before today all were intercepted by either Israel or Western allies with forces stationed in the region.
Yemeni spokesman Yahya Sare’e said that the strike was in retaliation for Israel’s war against the Palestinians.
