New Internationalist launches new series to challenge global arms trade

NEW INTERNATIONALIST has launched a new series to challenge the global arms trade, the magazine revealed today.
The year-long project will explore the human, economic, environmental and security costs of government complicity in the arms trade, and provide a roadmap for global action.
New Internationalist co-editor Amy Hall said: “Building on a rich legacy of anti-militarist campaigning, there has been an acceleration of activism on the arms trade since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.
