The Ohsan-Beavis clan are sad to announce that Ivan Beavis took leave of us on December 28 2017.

He was always a supporter of the NHS and he strove to advance the interests of staff through the trades union movement to the end.

As a father, grandfather, uncle, friend, brother, partner, and always a comrade, he leaves a lacuna in our lives. You will remember him as the organiser of the Morning Star Fighting Fund. And, as he would say: “Don’t mourn, the Morning Star needs your money.”
