Scotland's trade unions warn of industrial unrest over pay
New figures show public-sector workers have seen a real-terms loss in wages of 15 per cent over the last decade

SCOTLAND’S trade unions are warning of industrial unrest over pay as new figures show public-sector workers have seen a real-terms loss in wages of 15 per cent over the last decade.
The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) has released research highlighting the key issues affecting workers, calling for action from the next government.
A third of Scotland’s 920,000 key workers are paid less than £10 an hour, the Action on Pay report found, calling for the devolution of employment and equality law to Holyrood.
