TEAM GB’S Sabrina Fortune broke the F20 shot put world record twice as she claimed her third successive World Para Athletics Championships gold in Kobe.

Fortune’s first record-breaking throw measured 14.56 metres, beating the previous best mark from Ecuadorian Poleth Mendes — who took silver on Sunday — by 17 centimetres.

She then exceeded that, having secured the gold medal, with an effort of 14.73m on her final throw.
