AN EMBARRASSING story emerged today of Welsh and Scottish MPs signing a letter to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer about the devolved issue of housing and planning.

Six Scottish and five Welsh Labour MPs have signed a letter urging the Labour leader to reform planning policy, even though it’s been devolved for 25 years.

The names of the Welsh MPs include newly elected Alex Barros-Curtis of Cardiff West, Torsten Bell of Swansea West, Kanishka Narayan of Vale of Glamorgan and Henry Tufnell of Mid and South Pembrokeshire.
