Morton double salvages point for GB men against the Netherlands
Lee Morton (second right) celebrates with teammates after scoring a goal during the men's field hockey match between Britain and Netherlands at the Yves-du-Manoir Stadium, at the 2024 Summer Olympics, July 30, 2024, in Colombes, France

LEE MORTON’S fourth quarter brace rescued a point for Team GB as they came back to draw 2-2 with the Netherlands today.

It was goalless at half-time but the Netherlands soon took the lead through Floris Wortelboer and Thijs van Dam.

However, another late show from Team GB saw Morton strike twice in the final quarter to salvage a point, meaning they now sit third in Pool A.
