It would be a dream come true – Korda targets Open victory
Nelly Korda, of the United States, hits her shot from the 14th tee during the third round of the women's golf event at the 2024 Summer Olympics, August 9, 2024, at Le Golf National, in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France

WORLD number one Nelly Korda is targeting a dream victory as the Women’s Open returns to the home of golf this week.

The Old Course at St Andrews is staging the final major of the year for only the third time and first since 2013.

Korda is hoping to round off a memorable year in style having won the season’s opening major, the Dinah Shore in April, amid a blistering spell of six tournament wins in seven starts.
