Bompastor hopes consistency will continue as Blues chase WSL record
Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor following, London, October 12, 2024

CHELSEA head coach Sonia Bompastor wants her side to channel their “winner’s DNA” again when the Women’s Super League leaders head to struggling Leicester looking to set a new record.

The Blues have won all 14 of their matches this season under new boss Bompastor as they chase silverware on two fronts – crushing Twente 6-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night to maintain a perfect Champions League group campaign so far with one round left.

Bompastor takes her team to Filbert Way on Saturday with the chance to better Arsenal’s record of nine straight wins at the start of a WSL season, which Chelsea equalled with a 4-2 victory over Brighton last weekend.
