Boeing withdraws 30% pay rise offer from striking US workers

AVIATION giant Boeing has withdrawn its 30 per cent pay rise offer to striking staff in the US after negotiations with union representatives reached a stalemate.
The company said today that the union was not giving its proposals serious consideration.
But the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) said Boeing was “hell-bent on standing on the non-negotiated offer” which was sent directly to the media on September 23 and which its members rejected.
