US Union tells Boeing its ‘best and final offer’ isn't good enough
THE union at the centre of strike action at Boeing told the employer today that its “best and final offer” wasn’t good enough to end the dispute.
The leaders of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) district 751 said there will not be an acceptance vote before Boeing's Friday deadline.
The union also complained that the offer, which includes bigger raises and larger bonuses, was publicised to the 33,000 striking workers without first bargaining with union negotiators.
