FRANCE: Actor Alain Delon died today, his family said.
Tributes poured in from French politicians including far-right leader Marine Le Pen, who said “the legend has gone.” Mr Delon, who had to resign as president of the Miss France beauty contest for making racist, homophobic and sexist remarks, was a supporter of her fascist party and close friend of her anti-semitic father Jean-Marie.

YEMEN: Famine is looming in at least four districts of the country, international experts say.
