Workers at steel giant Tata are to ban overtime as part of industrial action in protest at job losses
WORKERS at steel giant Tata are to ban overtime as part of industrial action in protest against job losses, their union said today.
Unite said about 1,500 of its members based in Port Talbot and Llanwern in South Wales will take action from June 18.
Unions are opposed to the company’s plans to close blast furnaces and switch to a greener form of production which needs fewer workers.
