Watson hoping Scotland give Australia a run for their money again in T20s
A general view during the T20 World Cup Super 12 match between England and New Zealand at The Gabba in Brisbane, Australia, November 1, 2022

DOUG WATSON has backed his Scotland team to rise to the challenge of facing Australia after naming his 17-man squad for next month’s T20 series in Edinburgh.

The Scots suffered an agonising five-wicket defeat to the Aussies at the T20 World Cup in June.

But Watson is relishing the chance to face them three times at The Grange between September 4-7.
