Uber drivers launch wave of strikes and protests across country

UBER drivers told their employer that “enough is enough” as they launched strikes and protests across the country today.

Hundreds walked off the job in Birmingham, London and Nottingham over poor wages and working conditions.

From 1pm onwards, drivers signalled themselves unavailable on Uber’s phone app and headed to the company’s offices in their respective cities to protest.
