Tories have broken Britain, new anti-austerity campaign warns
Trade unions, community groups and left-wing MPs back the People's Assembly's new campaign, Britain is Broken: We Can't Afford the Tories

ANTI-AUSTERITY campaigners are launching a national campaign tomorrow warning that the Tories have brought the country to a “tipping point.”

Spearheaded by the People’s Assembly, the campaign titled Britain is Broken: we can’t afford the Tories has garnered the backing of trade unions, community groups and left-wing MPs.

The campaign focuses on public-sector cuts, the introduction of universal credit, the state of Britain’s railways and the “hostile environment” created for immigrants to drive home its argument for real political change.
