Sunak criticised for allowing honeytrap scandal MP to ‘sack himself’
Prime Minster Rishi Sunak during a visit to an apprentice training centre at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), in Coventry, March 18, 2024

RISHI SUNAK was accused of a “complete lack of leadership” today after allowing an MP caught sharing colleagues’ personal phone numbers with a suspected scammer to “sack himself.”

The Prime Minister was challenged on his response to revelations that William Wragg had been targeted in a so-called “honeytrap” scandal last week.

The MP for Hazel Grove in Greater Manchester “voluntarily” resigned the Tory whip on Tuesday night.
