MEN’S BOXING: Ipswich-born heavyweight Fabio Wardley scored a surprise eleventh-round stoppage win over New Zealand’s Joshua Parker in London on Saturday night.
Wardley improved his unbeaten record to 20 wins and 1 draw while Parker slipped to his fourth defeat in 40 bouts. On the undercard Mitchell Smith earned a unanimous points victory over previously unbeaten Arnie Dawson to claim the WBO European lightweight belt.
