MEN’S CRICKET: India suffered their heaviest ever test defeat after going down to South Africa by 408 runs in Guwahati on Wednesday morning.
Chasing 548 the Indians were soon in trouble with spinner Simon Harmer taking 6-37 as they crumbled to 140 all out. Ravindra Jadeja batting at number seven offered their only resistance with 54.
South Africa took the two match series 2-0 after winning the first test by 30 runs.
MEN’S RUGBY UNION: Super Rygbi Cymru Trophy league leaders Ebbw Vale host third-placed Carmarthen on Friday evening at Eugene Cross Park.

MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Next year’s Super League Magic Weekend will take place at Everton’s new stadium on the River Mersey’s Bramley-Moore dock.
The event will see all 12 English clubs take part over the first weekend in July with Toulouse scheduled to meet Catalans Dragons at a neutral venue in France.
