Scottish Greens call for free school meals and £2 bus fare cap
SCOTTISH GREENS are calling for “bold action” to cut the cost of living in this week’s budget if the SNP government want their support.
The party’s finance spokesman Ross Greer called for the SNP to back a £2 cap on bus fares and the rollout of free school meals to all P (primary) 6 and P7 pupils.
Speaking ahead of the publication of Wednesday’s Scottish budget, Mr Greer said: “Scotland is one of the richest countries in the history of our planet.
