PALESTINE ACTION targeted a tech supplier for Israel’s biggest weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems at its Peterborough premises today.

The activists doused the CDW UK building in red paint, symbolising the bloodshed of the Palestinian people. Glass panels were also cracked during the action.

Palestine Action is calling on CDW UK to sever ties with Elbit. According to the direct-action group, the firm provides the weapons maker with supply-chain management, IT, cybersecurity and e-procurement services.

A Palestine Action spokesperson said: “Palestine Action continues to target all those who enable the operations of Israel’s biggest weapons producer, Elbit Systems.

“When companies fail to abide by any moral compass and maintain their involvement in genocide, we will intervene and cost them more than they gain by working with Elbit.

“As a result of our direct-action movement over a dozen companies have cut ties with Elbit to date. CDW must also follow suit.”
