LEFT MEDIA: Tune into an alternative election night broadcast from 9.45pm tomorrow night.

“Not the General Election 2024” is hosted by Crispin Flintoff, who hosts the popular Not the Andrew Marr Show online politics programme. It will focus on the results for independent and socialist candidates.

Commentators will include Ian Hodson of the BFAWU union, feminist campaigner Audrey White, Palestine solidarity activist Asa Winstanley and more.

WALES: Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth said today his party was “an alternative to 14 years of Tory pain, but also to that Labour indifference towards Wales.”

People “aren’t very excited” about Labour’s offer, he added, expressing confidence Plaid would do well.

GREENS: Green MPs would push a Labour government to be “braver and bolder,” the party’s Bristol Central candidate Carla Denyer said today.

She urged voters to ensure that the “only serious opposition” to a Starmer regime was not “from the right of politics,” emphasising the Greens are a realistic prospect in seats such as hers.
