Ireland to play home Test match next May

Ireland will play its inaugural cricket Test on home soil against Pakistan in May.

Ireland and Afghanistan were given Test status in June, becoming the 11th and 12th full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The exact date and venue has yet to be confirmed. An agreement for Ireland to play Pakistan was reached during an ICC meeting in Auckland this week.
